What makes and models of device do you repair?

MobiFIX have been providing specialty repair services for nearly five years for most makes of phone, tablet and laptops. If you would like to know whether your device can be repaired just give me a call!

What about water damage?

A.

Water damage (or any liquid intrusion) can be difficult. This is because slow corrosion can occur over time, resulting in strange faults and power issues appearing weeks or months after the unfortunate event.

Initial steps to deal with water damage must be taken quickly, and must include microscopic cleaning of the primary logic board. This is something that I am happy to do for a low-cost service fee of $75, but I can't give any guarantees that this will correct any issues. Sometimes the device behaves itself, and other times it just doesn't survive. But I will always give it my best shot!

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes - all parts used by MobiFIX are high quality and carry a 1 year manufacturers warranty. This means that if the part fails within one year, provided it is not damaged, scratched or broken in any way, it will be replaced - free of charge!

There are often other times when a non-warranty problem can easily be resolved, which I am happy to do for friendlies!

Who does the actual repair?

The answer to that is simple - I do! I don't outsource screen replacements because I believe that the very best person to look after you device is the owner of the business. I enjoy the connections that I have with my customers, and I take personal pride in delivering you with a quality repair. As I have said before - the buck stops with me!

How long does a repair take?

A.

Time taken to repair depends on what is needed. Typically, a screen repair for an iPhone can be as little as 90 minutes, however for an Android phone may take a couple of days. The best way to find out is to ask!

Can I drop my device in to a location nearby?

A.

Absolutely! MobiFIX uses a collection agent system, meaning that you have a number of locations that you can use depending on where you are. It's all about convenience for you, our valuable customer!

Currently our drop-off locations are:

  • BUSSELTON - Battery All Types - 1/56 Bussell Hwy, Busselton (open 8:30 am to 5pm Mon to Fri and 8:30am to 12 noon Sat.)
  • DUNSBOROUGH - Southwest ComputABLE - 54 Bussell Highway, Cowaramup (open 8:30 am to 5pm Mon to Fri)
